Events: Women's 10m Air Pistol, Women's 25m Sport Pistol

Teresa Meyer Chambers started shooting at age 10, and was shooting competitively by age 14.

"In 1996, I begged my Dad to take me to the range. At first, he didn't know if I was serious and handed a tabbed reloading manual. He told me to read the tabbed pages. I only read the tabbed page with the ten shooting safety commandments and wrote them in a journal. When I showed him this, he took me to the range. In 2001, I won my first Junior National Championship. At the end of awards I met Laura Tyler and John Bickar. They invited to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs," Chambers said.

Chambers was Collegiate National Champion for The Ohio State University in Women's Air Pistol 2006-2008, and Women's Sport Pistol Natioal Champion in 2008, the same year she was named OSU Athlete of the Year.

Chambers enjoys reading, hunting and crocheting in her free time.
