Personal
Emily began shooting smallbore rifle at the age of 11 with the Dubious Area Rifle team. Her brother, Aaron, was part of the team and she went to watch all his matches. It wasn't long before she was competing with him. Her dad then started a junior shooting program at the Ridgway Rifle Club. At 14 years old, she won the Women's 50m Rifle Three Position Junior Olympic National Championship and earned a spot on the National Junior Team.   She was part of her high school's volleyball team and enjoys hiking. After high school, she was recruited to shoot for Harry Mullins on the University of Kentucky rifle team.  She received All-SEC Academic Honors. She was a vegetarian for most of her life and has never been hunting.
