Staff Sergeant Joseph Hein began shooting with his father at 5 years old. He was a member of the University of Alaska Fairbanks Rifle Team and graduated in 2005. Joseph was a Resident Athlete at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for over three years and then joined the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit in 2009.  Joseph enjoys bow hunting and listening to country music.
