Kayle began shooting at 8 years old in the yard with her dad, an avid sporting clay shooter. Kayle began her target career in sporting clays where she made the open All-American Team at just 12 years old.  The following year, she attended a JODC camp in Colorado Springs and decided to take up an international shooting event.  In 2007, Kayle was selected to the Shotgun Junior Olympic Team and later that year won the bronze medal in the National Junior Olympic Championships. Her career has progressed since then to include a Pan Am Games gold medal in 2011, a World Cup bronze medal in 2012 and several National Championship medals.
