The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) is the International Organizing Committee (IOC) for the shooting sports.  The ISSF hold four World Cups per year in each discipline.  Rifle and pistol are almost always combined at each World Cup.  Typically, there is one rifle/pistol/shotgun World Cup held per year.  In 2012, World Cups will not be worth 2012 Olympic participation quotas, but they will provide excellent competition experience and training for athletes attending the Olympic Games.  To learn how to make a team and compete in ISSF competitions, please see USAS policies and procedures for team requirements.
