E. C. (Cris) Stone shot at Camp Perry as a cadet at West Point. He was commissioned in the infantry and completed Airborne, Ranger and Jungle School. He served in Vietnam and Iran with awards for service and valor in combat. He has written for “Infantry Magazine” about small arms safety training. Cris has an MBA from the University of Virginia and is a member of the Board of Directors of The Association of Graduates of West Point. He retired from Regions Financial Corporation.
Cris is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO is the largest privately held bank in the USA). He is in the process of stepping down from his position as the Chief Credit Officer. During his tenure the FNBO went through the bank financial crisis without every taking or needing to take any TARP bailout money.
Cris is an active local gun club member and shoots in recreational target competitions in his local area and in the National Matches.
