Register Now for Level 1 Coach Training Course

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. (June 11, 2010)

The National Training Center Shooting Club, in cooperation with USA Shooting, is sponsoring a NRA-USAS-CMP Level 1 Coach Training Course. The Level 1 Coach Training Course is an entry level course for shooting coaches, and is required for follow-on Certifications (Level 2, 3, and 4) in rifle or pistol coaching. It also allows Juniors (15 - 17 years of age) to obtain credentials as Junior Rifle or Pistol Trainer, and then Level 1 Coach when they turn 18 years of age.

Schedule for the Level 1 Coach Training, sponsored by the NTC Shooting Club, is divided by discipline and level. The basic course will occur on Saturday, 21 August; the Rifle Course is Sunday, 22 August, and the Pistol Course is Saturday, 28 August. Instructors include Bob Foth for rifle and Bud Kucera and Charlie Reed for pistol. All courses will be held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. from 8AM to 5PM - with coffee, drinks, and snacks provided. Space is limited to 25 students and regsitration ends 1 August, so sign up today!
