Time to Get it Dunn

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. (June 14, 2010)

At the 2010 International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup Lonato, USA’s Haley Dunn staked claim to one of four World Cup gold medals this year in Women’s Skeet. After remaining relatively quiet on the international scene, Dunn leaps back onto the podium with the brightest medal. “I am back, and my next aim is the ISSF World Championship in Munich, where the first 2012 Olympic Quotas will be awarded. There, I will compete with Kim Rhode and Amber English. It’s not going to be easy, but I am really motivated,” said Dunn when responding to interview questions from ISSF’s Marco Dalla Dea. Dunn qualified with 73 targets and nailed 24 of 25 for a solid final and a gold medal. Right behind Dunn in second was teammate Caitlin Connor, the youngest shooter in the final, who fell to sixth after missing five targets in the final.
