Hancock Closes Business with Bronze

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. (June 15, 2010)

2008 Olympic Gold medalist, Vince Hancock, put in extra credit for a bronze medal at the World Cup in Lonato, Italy. The US Army Marksmanship Unit’s Sergeant (SGT) Hancock entered in the bottom half of today’s Men’s Skeet final and shot up to third. With a solid 25 targets in the final, SGT Hancock was tied with Denmark’s Andres Golding for third at 147 hits. The medal winner was decided 38 targets later at station four – SFC Hancock had 38 hits as Golding fell to fourth with 37 hits. Just shy of the finals, US teammate Sean McLelland in 8th place with 121 hits and Shawn Dulohery in 12th, also with 121 targets.
