The IPC World Shooting Championships COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. (July 19, 2010) ![]() At the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) World Shooting Championships are underway in Zagreb, Croatia, until July 24th. The USA sent four athletes: Danielle Fong, Sergeant First Class Josh Olson, Eric Hollen, and Mike Dickey. Yesterday, Danielle Fong, sister of standouts Sandy and Abby Fong, fired a 384, 1 point below her personal record in the Women’s Air Rifle Standing (R2) event to finish 13th. The Korean women took home two medals and the other belonged to China. Danielle is off to a great start and will be competing in two more events at the IPC World Shooting Championships. Today, Resident Athlete, Mike Dickey finished 54th in the Air Rifle Prone SH1 Mixed (R3) event. Equipped with a new shooting table for his wheelchair, Dickey shot for 591 points. He will also compete in Smallbore Prone (R6) on Thursday, July 22nd.
