Personal

Daughter of Jennifer Tucker Mogensen, one younger brother, Reece.

Mary picked up rifle shooting in high school, training most days in her family’s garage. She learned to teach herself via YouTube videos and online resources. She was recruited to University of Kentucky for Rifle, where she’s earned several awards and titles, including Rookie Shooter of the Year and her ticket to the Tokyo 202One Olympic Games in Air Rifle. In 2021, Mary won gold at NCAA Championships in both the 10m Air Rifle and 50m Smallbore events, the first UK athlete to sweep gold. While leading her team to an NCAA championship, she was also named the Most Outstanding Performer. Just a week later, Mary competed at ISSF World Cup New Delhi where she won gold in Women's 10m Air Rifle, silver in Women's Team 10m Air Rifle, and Bronze in Mixed Team 10m Air Rifle.
