USA Shooting announces 10.9 Day Virtual Match Results


USA Shooting celebrated 10.9 Day (October 9, 2020) by hosting a virtual air rifle and air pistol match that took place Friday October 9, 2020. 147 athletes from across the country took place in the virtual match, including members of the 202One Tokyo Olympic Team.

Entry to the match was free, but donations were accepted. A total of $197.72 was donated over the course of the weekend with all proceeds supporting our junior athletes. 

All United States competitors were welcome to have fun and compete in the match including the chance to win prizes for highest score, for any 10.9 submitted, and through a random drawing. 

36 competitiors shot 10.9s including Jacob Day, MacKenna O’Mara, and Katie Zaun who all finished their match with a 10.9 on their last shot!
